Paraty 1963 Armchair
LinBrasil
15-17 weeks Lead-Time
Originally designed in the mid 1960’s for the lobby of Brasilia’s Itamaraty Palace, which houses the Ministry of External Relations of Brazil, Sergio Rodrigues’ ‘Paraty’ armchair was an instant hit due to its modern, seemingly floating design and ultra comfort. Named after the city of Paraty, a preserved Portuguese colonial getaway where the gold rush of the 1700’s led to the construction of its historical Gold Trail.
